Chocomel Hot is a good example of innovative strength. When still employed at Friesland, Marjo was overall project leader of both the Supply Chain team and the Commercial team. The Supply Chain team dealt with capital expenditure, production lines and product development. The Commercial team was responsible for the marketing concept, communication strategy and channel management. The introduction of Chocomel Hot is a result of much conceptual thinking on design, product use, packaging and packaging development. Through close teamwork on operations, sales, marketing and product- & packaging development the introduction became a big hit.
In 2008 Chocomel Hot received the famous SIAL D’OR award, ”The Wheel of Retail” and the Food Magazine Marketing Award.
